High Adventure

August 2026 will be canoeing in the Boundary Waters, northern Minnesota,

Each year we plan a high adventure trip. In June 2024, we took an amazing trip to Philmont in Cimarron, NM.  Here are a few of the highlights:

• Backache Springs
• URRACA
• Miner’s Park, rock climbing and rappelling
• Schaefer’s Pass, conservation project, elevation 9400′
• Hiking Tooth of Time peak, elevation 9000′
• Touch-Me-Not Creek, tomahawk throwing and muzzle-loading rifles
